Works For Me, Got to hang my plasma TV. I borrowed another type of detector amount of my father-in-law. It works well for me this just look for the nails on the wall and usually nail the 2×4, so it works. Plasma is on the wall very well and do not fall (Knock on wood).
The other type of detector amounts not too much work, since the wall, I hung on the wall of separation between my town and next door, I think it's probably some pilewood advice has been difficult for this type of stud finder to find Stud.
That said, stud finder is a big magnet, so you could theoretically get your own magnet and do the same trick w / o buying. However, this magnet is probably somewhat 'stronger? More help level kinda.
